Focusing exclusively on the multi-unit restaurant industry since 1991, Mr. Davis possesses over 25 years of financing, transactional, and valuation experience. Mr. Davis has been responsible for structuring and sourcing numerous complex financial transactions for both franchised and independent restaurant companies. At Cypress, Mr. Davis has managed the capital formation activity for the firm. Prior to joining The Cypress Group in 2001, Mr. Davis was a Founding Partner of Peachtree Franchise Finance, a specialized lender providing debt capital to the franchise restaurant industry. Mr. Davis managed Peachtree's origination and marketing group and was responsible for over $300 million dollars in restaurant financing in less than 18 months. In addition, Mr. Davis held numerous sales and management positions with leading national restaurant lenders before founding Peachtree. Mr. Davis is also an experienced multi-unit area developer/operator serving as an investor, board-member, and advisor of a national retail franchise.
